Pretty guinea pigs Floydie. Do they need any attention when they are born?

Not really unless mum has problems, they are born with their eyes open, fur and run about within a few hours, they tend to start eating the next day just a nibble here or there.

How many are born in a litter Floydie? The Swiss look like just two little ones. Don't they normally have more? I think you must be moving out or downsizing your living quarters to fit them all in.

They can have 1-6 or more but tend to have around 3 in a litter. I don't like to let them go even more so if they have something I'm looking for, both little ones will be staying but i may part with the boar at a later point as i have enough boars really. She had 3 2 boars and 1 sow but she didnt take the sack off one of the boars and he'd passed when i found him .

That's a shame about the baby boar, maybe she sensed there was something wrong with him.
