Sometimes they get tired having the first 1 or 2 (or more), or are so engrossed cleaning the others up that they forget about the other/s . Its just one of those things sadly.

I thought you'd like to know that Henry spent the day at the vet hospital yesterday and had sedation, then an X-ray and blood tests. The results confirm that he has arthritis in his left leg, so he'll be on more drugs. I think I told you he'd been limping for a while. One problem is that he's not supposed to go up and down stairs - but that's impossible at the moment. Another insurance claim - they must love us! (NOT!) Poor Henry. He's only 8.

I will. I added a blanket to his bed last night because the kitchen was chilly after a day of fans and dehumidifiers going full blast in there. I thought he might appreciate being a bit 'cossetted'. :)We have to wait to pick up his meds, which had to be ordered for him.

Poor Henry & poor Stripes, it must be tough for them. The damp can't be doing Henry any good either can it, glad you gave him an extra blanket Geranium.

Sorry about Stripes. Les. Henry's not supposed to be going up and down stairs - before 'it' he hardly ever did, but now of couirse he does - and he likes to follow us round which is even more difficult. We're trying to take it in turns to go down (if possible), and reward him for staying.

I don't know about animals but when I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hands years ago I was told there was no cure as it was 'Wear and Tear'. I had to give up window cleaning and concentrated on my garden work instead. I still had to go up a ladder from time to time though After about a year or so the arthritis disappeared. I don't know why. There is always the hope then that the animals' arthritis may disappear too in time. Fingers crossed.

I know what you mean SP. I had a nasty carpal tunnel syndrome, but it wore off . I am trying to get my knees to work well as I was told by the consultant I would need a new knee in five years. That was four years ago after arthroscopy and I do not want a new knee.

I know what you are like SP. It is just that he had the photos of one knee, but when he showed them to me, I could not see arthritis or anything else for that matter.
