Geranium, prompted by your post about the dog mess, in Australia this does not happen. I really mean that. There are designated dog parks and people take plastic bags which are tied loosely on the lead handle. Bins are provided for this eventuality. Quite often good quality council bags are put in a receptacal at the entrance to the dog beach or park.

Harry was 8 yesterday

many days we thought he wasn't going to make it to 8, let's face it the vet didn't think he was going to make it to 7 let alone 8, so we are all totally thrilled, he had such a lovely day full of fussing

he came bouncing in yesterday like he knew full well

We leave the radio on all night, on Classic FM, and it's definitely having a positive effect. Some days/nights have been howl-free and some only minor!
