KC, I am so sorry for you, but it was the right thing to do. Feel no guilt, just love for a friend departed.

I'm back from holiday too just now, sorry to hear that KC - ouch. I still miss my big ol' dog three years on, but I think of all the funny stuff now it takes time to stop expecting them to be there.

Thanks Bess, we are all settling, even Bob, we all have out moments, we just try to distract ourselves in our tough moments and try to happily remember him in the good times

Bob was apparently crying and howling yesterday at various stages of the day son is at home today but don't want him getting too used to that. Maybe a walk in the mornings before I go to work would help to pacify him until we get home at 5. All of his bedding and toys etc are all out there daytime for him, with his water bowl.
Now my toe is better I'm going to have to properly train him to walk on the lead, as he currently pulls and tugs, he's a bull! so full of energy, Maybe if I play fetch or tug with him before I bring him for a walk he could be easier to train if he's not as much energy about him. Trying to persevere with him at the moment teaching him what stay means in the house, especially when watering plants at the front, I daren't let him out as he'd just bolt for the hills!
He also wanted in this morning, from 530!!!
Any tips?
