After my mum died a few years ago I found some birth and marriage certificates that she had kept for her grandparents and parents. I hadn't known that before the First World War my grandad had been a collier, and his father was a 'horse trader'

Most of the men in the family were balcksmiths and also some Jetworkers

I have had a lovely day today ;D This morning my Cousin phoned from Australia and I had a wonderful chat with him and his wife ;D
This afternoon my Cousin phoned from Newcastle and I had a lovely chat with him ;D
My brother will be very interested to learn that our Cousin in Australia played in the amateur cup final at wembley in 1954 - I have just googled and watched a snippet of the match from Pathe News ;D
It was great to hear about their families - I do hope we can keep in touch and maybe one day meet ;D
