That 'elephant's foot' is one of the strangest plants I've seen W.F., fascinating, if I was growing it & hadn't seen the first pic. I would have thought something was wrong when it started to split! ;D Don't think I've got the patience to grow one for 20 years to get to tennis ball size though! ;D

Blodwyn is such a pretty cat Hywel and i love you cacti, i will take some pictures of mine, not that i have that many, i have lots of succulents though

I'm trying to get some good pics but my camera isn't very good. It would be interesting to see yours. [ by the way ...... My cat is Blodyn (no 'w') .... it's pronounced as "Blowdeen" ]

Have they changed Ferocactus to Bisnaga now then Hywel? I think it's called a synonym Steve. I found it recently. I think it sounds nicer lol ;D

They do all look lovely grouped together on your shelves Hywel & very tidy & healthy- unlike my dusty, scruffy collection on a couple of windowsills!
