I had a good look at my Polystichum setiferum when I got back Tel and it looks the same as yours, so it could be alright. The plant was not lifted, your piece was hacked off, so mine was not even disturbed. It must be a late mover.

That's a shame Tel, now you have to fuss over your "house" plants as well as the ones you'll be growing in your allotment.

The council offered us a flat.

If you are a secure tenant you cannot be forced to move unless you are proven to be of nuisance to your neighbors or in breech of your agreement. Stick to your guns . Tel I'm so sorry its hard when you are Private renting to find some were that will be long term I hope you find some were you both will be happy soon .

We will be signing the contract for the new house and picking up the keys on the 4th May. So the packing and moving the plants starts again, but once we are in, we can start on the garden, because there is nothing to do in the house.

Glad to hear you and Brenda have found another house Tel Its just a shame that you have the hassle of moving everything again.
