Floydie, will Christmas be held at your Mum's house?
I am not making Christmas pudding this year. I am thinking about Tirimisu . I want something lighter.

I'm not keen on Christmas pud or cake I'm probably a little too keen on the alcohol though ;D. We emphasize the merry part of Merry Christmas in this house over Christmas I have to have a yearly fix of mulled wine

Xmas is not a childrens occasion here, it's a very adult occasion, we buy each other 1 or 2 fairly extravagant gifts and that's xmas ! This year we'll be eating out on the 25th but other than that i can't wait to get back to the normal routines, and .... too many days off work gets me thinking about how much money i'm losing In the main, i could easily live without it all !

I'm with you Rosie - I LOVE Christmas ;D The pudding I make isn't that really dark stodgy sort - I make a much fruitier and lighter one I considered not making a cake this year but only for a couple of minutes ;D I will make it at the beginning of december All the family are coming here for lunch on the 18th December to celebrate Barry's 70 th birthday - hopefully all the decorations will be up by then. We are all going to Paul and Louise for Christmas lunch and my sister and her family will be coming here sometime during the holiday. Tim and Sarah go to an old folks centre on Christmas morning and help to cook lunch for about 100 people - they really enjoy doing this ;D Lou - the kitchen smells lovely
