Looks lovely Tel. However, I can't help admiring the paintwork. Is this what you did when you moved? I could have done with borrowing your grandchildren for my tree. It took ages to put up. Afraid so Cherry we had to do this house from top to bottom, the carpet in that room and the staircase were fitted last Friday, but not by me i may add

OH brought home a tree today which is still in the netting and will hopefully be erected tomorrow. looks like I'll have to remove some of the lower branches so it will fit in the stand. Thought I'd finished with pruning for a while

They look lovely Floydie & Esther, perfect for the children & grandchildren. I can see you've got a little 'fence' around your tree Floydie but how do you stop the little ones from opening those presents around the bottom! ;D They have been told they are for Santa to take and have been very good about them, Elliot picks them up now and then but he is told to put them back and does . Its the dogs we have to watch if theres anything edible! we will be getting some bits and bobs for them on Friday that will be wrapped and placed under the tree. Molly usually goes sniffing about at this point and will try to take them and open them .

They do look lovely! Henry ate chocolate decorations off my daughter's tree a few years ago, so now my grandson has the job of hanging them up high so he can't reach. H. does get a few presents, and he opens them himself. ;D

Thank you all ;D Its very easy to do one, just some Oasis, greenery from the garden, a couple of bits off the Corylus and the robin found at the bottom of the decorations box

That's easy for you to say! I tried one from Blue peter, using sticky backed plastic, a cornflake box, 2 empty toilet rolls, and a cheese spread carton.....didn't look the same
