Glad you got it going Floydie. I love my sewing machine . I`m making a padded. scented fabric cover for my A4 garden file at the moment, with built in pencil case seed label holders, and carry handles. Did you try eBay for a foot pedal ? or check out on line there are several places that sell accessories for old machines.

Good luck with it. If you enjoy sewing, they're a wonderful invention. Do you have one Geranium ?

Mine is a Husqvarna Viking made in 1975. I have had it serviced once and repaired once. When I lived in Oxfordshire, it was taken to the local shop who sent it to the service agent in Reading. When I moved here and needed to use it, it went to a shop in Kings Lynn and here is the amazing part of the story, it was the same man, who recognized his writing on the history, who repaired it. He moved from Reading to near Kings Lynn and it was sheer coincidence.
I looked at new machines when I lived in Oxfordshire, but they were not a patch on my own which uses cams to vary the stitches.
