I might have a photo of some knitting I did for a new baby, but I might look for it if Esther puts some of her craft work on here. Also, WF is good at crafts. I think I saw some knitting from Lou also.

Floydie your cozies are a brill idea. I have seen tunnels similar in pet shops and the ends appear to be reinforced with tubing of some sort inside to keep them open.

This is something I'm looking at, for the bigger ones anyway (the smaller ones stay open ok). Pellon 70 “Peltex" would do it but i saw this on a US site and don't seam to Beabel to get it over here. Any suggestion's.

Flodie there is stuff called rigiline that would be great for that job. its a stiffish mesh a few cm wide and you could sew lengths of it to stiffen the ends, its kind of bouncy stiff not rigid . you can sew through it or make a casing to thread it into ,and its machine washable. www.fredaldous.co.uk/rigilene-boning-12mm.htmlyou can also get 5 meters of 8mm rigiline on ebay for £2. 99 free postage

I used to do Cork Work ( French Knitting ) when i was a kid. My Mother also learned us how to make a Tab Rug, no pics of any of them though.

My Nan taught me to make 'rag' rugs, would that be the same thing Tel, using offcuts of material? She used the rugs next to the bed so there was something warm to stand on instead of cold lino
