Not on the thermostatically controlled one either? I've got seeds in that, too. It does have ventilation.

If you are using it for seeds, use the lid.....The tubers might start to go mouldy if you cover them...they only need the bottom heat

I put them in pots, not trays, as I'm not taking cuttings. I can take half the lid off. Do you see?

My....thats a very smart propagator ;D....If you are going to be short of space in your propagator...don't put the pots in...just put them on the staging....they will start shooting, but not as quickly as if you gave them bottom heat.

That's what I did before I got the prop. I'll have to do that when the next batch arrive! ;D I will get the old one up and running, though. Thanks for the advice.

I have also just bought 3 tubers of Sir Alf Ramsey for £2 each!! Not sure they will do well but worth a try at that price
