Hello everyone Has anyone grown and or exhibited the new Large Pompons as yet. I have seen a club member (Peter) with them but I am unsure myself. However would be another option for multivase classes. Regards, Paul Can't help you there Paul....I haven't seen the large pompons. Have been thinking about trying some standard poms......perhaps next year. I have enough new varieties for this year

ok so I am showing ignorance here but what exactly are LARGE pompons? Me thought that poms were limited to 2" (50mm) Oh and Lou, these tubers in the green tray look more like Begonias to me.

I left Ruby in the ground and wondered when I lifted them why I had miscounted. I was delighted to see it as it is a real favourite. It is perfectly alright. Can you believe it?

Me thought that poms were limited to 2" (50mm) Sweetpea, the NDS made a new class for Large Poms last year for the National and Harrogate. The Large Pom, size, less than 83mm but greater than 52mm The growers are now trying to produce new varieties of this now. The pom we all know maximum size is 52mm.
