Great pics Sue The other day I saw a small insect with a metallic green top half and hot pink bottom half- don't know the techie terms I googled and it was a Cuckoo Wasp - when I saw it it was investigating holes in the wall. I went for my camera but of course by the time I got back it had gone Today this spider was in my greenhouse

These were a couple of the magpie moths in the ivy in the front hedge today, lots of them fluttered out, they don't seem to be very confident flyers though they stumbled off into the nearest greenery.

Great photos Sue ;D Today I saw a Leaf Cutter Bee dragging a piece of leaf as big as itself into the hole in the wood in the greenhouse again. I have noticed them using the same place for at least 3 years running now I know where the bits of leaf are coming from - the Genii fuchsia I managed to take a photo but it isn't very clear but you will get the idea ;D This is the hole in the greenhouse This is the bee and my Genii fuchsia - what's left of it ;D

They must like that piece of wood Esther! I usually have artistic edges cut from my rose leaves by the bees but haven't noticed it so far this year, must be too wet for them here!

I think slugs & snails come under the 'etc' bit of the thread title:- Snail smiling at me through the kitchen window (some of you may remember the photo I took a couple of years ago which showed a snail's 'teeth' (actually raspers) on the same window!) ;D
