How lovely to be able to buy exotica - what a shame we can't grow such plants here. Never mind - we have plenty of alternatives!

My two new Clematis arrived this morning, in the time slot they promised! (I had an email early this morning) I had a lovely surprise when I opened the box - 'Semu' is in flower. The backs of the flowers are really pretty!

Thanks, Lou. This is the one I saw in an open garden in August. The owner ID't for me and told me where she got hers! I had to wait because it was out of stock. It's just as beautful as I remember. ;D

Finally got a lift to Dobbies yesterday to spend the £25 voucher I received back in May for my birthday. Spent hours browsing, I came away with ..... a packet of garlic at £2.99 everything is so expensive !

That's a pretty one Geranium, good that it's flowering so late too. No, it's not a viticella - it was bred in Estonia. It does bloom later then other Clematis - on the label it says months 6 - 9, I think, and it's in group 3 for pruning.

I hope it is National Gardens Ladybird, because they will add up and possibly make the gift very worthwhile. I save mine for months and even years because they don't go out of date. Mine are usually smaller though and then have to be saved.
I agree that that clematis is very pretty Geranium. What a cracking colour, and size too.

Thanks, Cherry. I loved it when I saw it back in August, and I'm delighted that I managed to get one.
