Thanks, Sue. How big is your freeby? It's not massive Geranium, probably just under 2ft tall single stem, but it looks healthy enough.

That is the best of both worlds Geranium. A plant fair and East Lambrook Manor too. Lucky you. You must have had a great time. Sadly, the garden has gone downhill and still needs a lot of work, Cherry. We went there last summer and I was itching to get my trowel and secateurs out. Margery Fish must be looking down in horror!

I ordered the two Clematis 'Amethyst Beauty' and they arrived by courier the next morning! They should be fine in the new trough as they're apparently good for containers. I've bought 90 litres of JI3, so I'm all prepared.

I got this one last year from Morrisons Peony. I paid pennies for it because it was broken. I am ashamed to say it is not planted yet, but I will go and do that now. It is to go through Corylus avellana 'Contorta' 'Red Majestic'. Sounds grand, but they are both young yet.

Its a lovely clematis Cherry, I have one I bought from Morrisons a couple of years ago on an obelisk and it has flowered well. The one I bought this week I planted near a purple clematis on my south facing fence, I'm hoping the two colours will look good together

I bought some bright yellow primroses and two wallflowers to go in my trough next week. I also thought I'd try a new Miraclegro product to fill the spaces in the 'pear tree' area. It's the blue and white seed mixture and I've sown it as per the instructions. If it works, I'll be really pleased.

I didn't show you my new Hellebore that came while our broadband was off. It's H. orientalis 'Harvington Double Apricot'. I know 'someone else' has this, so I can blame her! ;D And this is the bed under the apple tree now it's filled out.

That looks fantastic Geranium. Now let me guess who led you astray with the Hellebore.
