I had my first show on Saturday just gone,where I entered my sweet peas for the first time. I didnt hold out much hope as the weather had not been kind to them and to my suprise I won all the classes I entered and got best exhibit for my Gwendoline!!
I got a lovely shield and the sweet pea medal, to say I was pleased was an understatement ;D

out of 130 plants I will have about 12 ready so I can safely say candy will be this years champion grower. I will post my pictures in about 10 days time when they will be ready again |

Thanks everyone yes it was challenging and they weren't ad good as two weeks ago so I thought oh well I'll put them in anyway and glad I did. There was a champion grower who said to me well if there had have been two weeks of sun I would gave had more competition from him, it made me quite cross as we could all say the ones at home are better!
I haven't got any pics of the staged flowers I'm afraid but I will get some pics of th growing tomorrow if I can

Well i've cut 23 blooms for Wem, will get a vase of Sir Jimmy Shand and Zillah Harrod, plus a mixed.
Hopefully they will look nice when arranged as they look a bit ropey individually. Whatever, they are going in.
