Good luck with the bungalow Cherry, it will be lovely to have somewhere you can call your own again & have some soil to plant into even if it is only a small garden, hope you're very happy in it.

I paid for the house yesterday and have managed to do this before the stamp duty reduction runs out at the end of the month. I will be sorry to leave this beautiful new town house very close to the town centre, but it will be good to have my own house. If only I knew how to put photos on Garden Friends.

Glad to hear that Cherry, good luck with the move. Can you not put photos on using the 'add image to post' button? I usually use my laptop on here & it's pretty straightforward to do that but I think you might use an iPad or tablet but if you have photos you've taken on that you should still be able to do that somehow. I've just had a go on my tablet here:- Click on 'add image to post' Click/touch 'browse from your device' & click/touch 'camera' click/touch the circle with 'photo's in it & then click/touch the photo you want to post on here, there should be a little symbol a bit like the 'less than ' one from maths, 3 dots joined by 2 lines, you click/touch on that & then choose the 'copy link' to click/touch. Press your 'go back a page' symbol until you get back to the original 'select an image page & click on ' add image url' , hold your finger on that until 'paste' comes up & touch that so that the image link copies there. Click/touch 'submit' & 'upload' & the photo should appear. That sounds really complicated now I've written it down doesn't it but it wasn't too bad, there's probably a simpler way but I don't know it! I used my Amazon Fire tablet to do that so it may be different on an ipad anyway. The pic. I've posted is one from last year taken on the Fire tablet, no asters out like that yet here.

Lovely paintings lesley, I'm sorry I missed them earlier, you are very talented
I'm glad to know you've paid for the house Cherry, no worries about a mortgage now. I hope you'll get settled in soon and be able to show some photos of your new garden. I haven't got an ipad or mobile phone. They're too small and fiddly and you've got to carry them around everywhere with you ... a nuisance ... and I'd probably forget where I'd put it anyway.

Thanks for your patience and good instructions SueA. When I see my son, I will get him to help with this. lesley I am staying local, i.e. Downham Market not far from King’s Lynn. It is only 5 miles from White House Farm where I lived for 20 plus years, and which my son bought from my ex-husband and me. grindle I am moving a week or so after date of completion which is 30th September. I will keep this rented house for another month while I have carpets cleaned at the new house. My only problem is the decor in the kitchen/dining/family room which uses red as an accent colour, and red is not my colour. Pale blue or green would suit me better, but it will be changed in time. The garden is very small and overshadowed quite a lot by the woods behind the house. Just as well I like shade gardening. The front is laid to stones. I will work something out for this. The front faces south east, so gets quite warm.
