Hope you can get some photos on eventually Cherry, your new home sounds like it will be a good project for you, I'm sure you'll be able to create a new garden to suit you as you settle in.

Just to keep you upto date with what i've been doing apart from looking after mother most days, i've been trying to get our Horticultral Club going first of all i couldn't have our normal hall because of covid not enough room for distancing so i had to look for a new venue that was hard work as luck would have it i found a much better hall bigger car park. My first meeting was a week ago, i was really pleased with the turn out 35 members and a few visitors, also i had to do the AGM on the same evening but all went very well. Yes i'm Chair for our club.

That's good lesley, people are missing things like that. I was hoping to join something after Beryl died but there's nothing around here at the moment.

I am having a holiday in The Papworth Hospital to have a TAVI replacement of my aorta valve. I will get stronger and will be back to gardening in a few weeks. However, I will be back on the forum in a few days as you are all part of my support.

Cherry Not the best of holidays - spending time in hospital! I really hope you do get stronger when you come out & get back to your garden. Be praying for you.

Hope the op gives you back your oomph Cherry, you've waited a long time for it haven't you. My mum had a heart valve replacement in the early 1970s when it was still quite a new operation & I remember she had to spend weeks & weeks in hospital & now they throw you out after a day or two don't they! 😁 Hugs & best wishes. xx

Ha ha. I could have had it in a couple of weeks at Townsville Infirmary, which my daughter would have loved, but Townsville vs Papworth? Mmm I don’t think so. Papworth is a beautiful world class hospital, which is really modern because it is new. I already have my pacemaker tested every night automatically, with the data being sent direct to Papworth. Clever. I am doing urgent planting jobs now while I have the strength. seaburn I will take the hug, thankyou, but I am not normally a ‘huggy’ person. SueA this operation has improved even since I have been waiting. I think I will be in hospital 3 or 4 nights only.
