Builder did offer, but nothing so bad it could not be saved. Think they just pulled out the wrong plug when they had finished using the power point. We will have to have smoked salmon sandwiches every day this week, though. How tragic is that?

The pain last night was the worst I have had in 10 years. Could not even get undressed unaided. Pain killers had some effect, but made me dizzy as well. Pain a lot less this morning, but a sitting still day in order. Pulled muscle in my right shoulder, using the mouse is a bit of a problem. Heat pad on and no gardening.

That's a big nuisance, geumgrower! I also woke up this morning around 4am with a lot of pain in my right shoulder. I have been having to put Deep Heat on my shoulders & neck the last few weeks almost every morning. I can't seem to find the best position to sleep that might avoid this pain. But even so it's nothing compared to your pain! I just hope a day or two's rest will help you.

It has worsened as the day has gone on. Still not as bad as last night, but getting undressed later might be a tad difficult.

sorry to hear that you are both suffering GG and Balc. Are your pillows in decent condition. I was getting neck pain and numb arms. When I changed my pillows the difference was amazing. Hope you are both feeling much better tomorrow.

We bought new pillows a few months ago, especially for neck pain, (to avoid it I should say) but I don't find them all that good. They are supposed to support your head in the best position for sleeping, precisely to avoid neck pain! The centre of the pillows is sunken compared to the rest & has a black semicircle that is supposed to support the neck. They were relatively expensive but of little use lately! I also have a thinner one underneath it as the new pillow without it is too low for me. I tried it one or two nights but had to raise it back up a little.

Got rid of the shoulder pain, but now my knee has collapsed. Very swollen and painful. Falling to pieces with age.

My goodness listen to us all! My problem is walking, yet I can dig holes and still do the garden. I can walk about a mile without a break, and try to do everything necessary in the morning when I have more energy.
My daughter and 8 year old granddaughter have gone to Scotland to see my elder son, before returning to Australia. Now the bathroom fitters are here. Shortly my Scottish son and wife will be visiting to see The Sandringham Flower Show and the King and Queen. The weather will be more summery hopefully.

Cherry , you talk about your "Scottish son", do you have other sons with different nationalities? I do have my English son, born in Inverness, at Southery which is just 5 miles down the A10 and the Scottish one who was born in Victoria and spent half of his life in Scotland. Moira who visited from Australia was born in Victoria and educated in Scotland. Harriet, my youngest granddaughter who came with Moira is 8 and has an Australian accent. I was in North Queensland when she was born. I am Victorian and live here. I found North Queensland’s heat difficult and the snakes which are protected on Magnetic Island were really awful. I always took the Hungarian Viszla to bed with me, as it was able to let me know if there was even a gecko in the house. Managing the holiday units for Moira during a cyclone while she and Jeremy were away was the last straw and I came back to U.K. The koalas, birds and rock wallabies were all around, and these I liked.

I didn’t realise you were Victorian Cherry ? You don’t look bad on it really but it does explain all the aches and pains 🫣🤗

Cherry, I had to look up the dog breed as I'd never heard of it before, After seeing some pictures I think I've seen some of them around here over the years. Looks like good company to take to bed!
