Still under weather warning alerts...day 3 now!! I still can't work out why!!
Had a bit of rain yesterday and apparently more to come today. We have sunshine at the moment. High of 17C.

Same old, same old. Raining and cold. Diary shows that I only managed without a pullover on 3 days this year.

started raining 6 pm yesterday with lots of heavy rain in the night. A few showers during the day.

This morning I saw that we had been placed under an Amber alert for heavy rain from 6pm today till 8am tomorrow. It started to rain around 4pm but was fairly light. After about 30 mins or so it stopped again & didn't start up again till between 5.30 & 6pm. During the following 30 mins or so it rained quite heavily. My wife & I had a look out of the balcony door window & saw spray being kicked up by the rain. While we were watching we noticed it even seemed to get heavier still reducing the visibility across the road to the houses in front of us! It's ben a very long time since we last saw that happen & that was probably during a thunderstorm as well.
I can't ever remember us being under an amber warning just for rain here in all the 20+ years we have lived here! The weather apps all say it is raining hereat 9.30pm - but it hasn't rained for a couple of hours & it isn't raining now! I looked out of the balcony window to see if it was or not just a couple of minutes ago. Yet according to the Met Office app there is a 90-95% possibility of rain most of the night till around 8am Friday. That's also when the amber alert finishes.

Good morning all 👋
I don't know if it has rained all night as forecast even though I woke up several times during the night as I couldn't hear it. Now, at 6am, it's raining but I can hardly hear any drips on the windowsill. It is supposed to last a couple of hours yet.
Temps are down again as we only have 10C at the moment.

Dry at the moment but more rain is forecast for the majority of the day high of 13C with a chilly low of 4C tonight. It's our 4th day of having a weather warning .

It is blowing a ‘hoolie’ out there. We had rain too, but that is drying up now. I am glad I covered the outdoor furniture before leaving for Scotland.

Dull start & only 8°c this morning but we went for a run up the moss here & it stayed fine. The sun has managed to shine a little but it's been quite windy.

The rain finished here about 7.30am though it was forecast to last until 9am. The rest of the day was mostly cloudy though towards the evening we did get some sunshine & after the sun went down we had clear skies - unfortunately the moon doesn't give out any heat! 
It's been a cold & windy day here but dry. I went out on the balcony this morning but due to the cold wind I had to come back in after 10 minutes & get a thicker woollen jacket to put on before going out again for another 30 mins.
Our max today I don't think got above 12C! Tonight temps will fall as low as 6C. Tomorrow we expect a lot of fine weather with quite a bit of sunshine, howbeit cold sunshine! Our max for tomorrow will be 14C but no rain is forecast. The wind is coming from the NW & will continue all day tomorrow making it a cold day.

Yesterday turned out dry after all and quite sunny too. Today us looking nice, after a very nippy night, with a high of 15C.
