The NGS day is Sunday 21st August, open 10-4pm. But the Gardens are also open on Sunday 3rd July for the Garden Party...on that day we have CAMRA in to help with the beers on the outside bars.

Well, more pressure washing again this week, as well as draining the stream and cleaning it out, but the main job is to re gravel the Knot garden, and the Italian garden...we've had 17ton delivered today, with another 17ton arriving tomorrow Yes.....I know the gravel is uber white, but it does dull down after a few weeks....honest.....if it doesn't we are up s*** creek and may have to provide visitors with sun glasses!!!

Have also started off the first batch of dahlias in the Glasshouse to get lots of cuttings (loving Twinnings After 8, Arabian Night, Nuit D'Ete, Giraffe, Pink Giraffe and Le Castel The grapevines have also started now, so have been lifted back up along the eaves...should start to see signs of potential flowers in the next few weeks.

It does rather - how will it dull down? It's covered in loads of dust at the moment....the torrential rain we're having tonight will wash it off!!!! but the gravel that we are covering was originally the same bright white colour....wait until I post photo's of the italian garden when it's completed!!!!!

All great, and I especially enjoy seeing your work in progress, with the occasional finished product from another year.
