Potted up all the tomatoes until I can clear the greenhouse for some grow bags. watered, watered and watered again, the ground is so dry. I had a bon fire and burnt all the rotten untreated wood and twigs I could find. Deadheaded more dandelions as well as the grass which is not a few feet tall. weedkiller asap. put net over my arch and planted up all the climbers and sweet peas in two pots at either side. continuing night slug patrol which is working well .
Finally planting up bedding anywhere there is a space.

Planted out the last of the bedding plants & used a bit of black compost bag as a liner in the back of the half basket with missing coir & planted that up & hung it on the back fence. Watered all the baskets & lots of the pots & in the greenhouse. Planted out some the annuals I'd grown from seed into the borders.

Believe me Cherry I till have plenty of wood lying about from two damson trees cut down. I mainly got rid of the the thin spindly bits, the rotten pallet my greenhouse came in and the roses I cut down. I still have loads of the thick rotten wood from the old raised beds, pity I cant burn that .

Very pretty flowers though aren't they Eli but hooligans with huge leaves & I'm always pulling the little ones out of the gravel in the front garden as they try to creep across to the other borders! Only watered in the greenhouse & the hanging baskets around the house as the drizzly rain had done the rest, washed & put away the windowsill propagator & fed the wildlife.
