Wootton Impact in bloom now. It seems that all the flowers in the yellow/orange end of the display are blooming first . Hopefully have the rest coming out soon.

Wow, they are amazing. 'Art Deco' is beautiful. Some of them look laser cut, they are so perfectly shaped. My washing-up bowl of scrubby pink dahlias just got a massive complex

My washing-up bowl of scrubby pink dahlias just got a massive complex Thanks Bess, I'm glad you like them . I'm sure your dahlias are lovely in the washing up bowl. I think the galleries collection of which 'Art Deco' is one, are fantastic dwarf plants but with good size flowers. I've got nine altogether, so will be posting more pictures as they bloom.

We certainly weren't bored @markymate. They all look perfect and it would be hard to choose a favourite.

Thanks Richard for pointing out the wrong flower. This is the first year I've grown this plant, and should have double checked that when it flowered, it was the flower that was advertised. Looking more closely, it looks like a plant I was originally going to get, which was, Mels orange marmalade from another supplier. I'm going to contact Anglia Bulbs to let them know.
Thanks Mark

I did wonder if it was Mel's Orange Marmalade but ours has a fuller centre. Although. is your image of a mature bloom? www.withypitts-dahlias.co.uk/album/clive_nichols/album/slides/64476.html

Yes it is a mature bloom just about to start dropping. I've just emailed Anglia Bulbs about the problem. That's the second wrong tuber this year, I got sent Fabula instead of Fashion Monger, makes me mad . Thanks Richard for pointing the mistake out, I'm going to edit my earlier post.
