I know what you mean but it is your blog you write what you want to. Sometimes it is nice to keep it all separate - the garden life can be a welcome distraction from it all but then sometimes it is nice to let it all out. It might be a garden forum but this is your blog.
Mine is about gardening but it is more of a glimpse into my family life. I don't include my medical stuff because I like people to see that there is more to me than my condition but I might do oneday.
Each to their own, your blog - your the boss. (unless you do something naughty and the Mods tell us off)

Of course, this forum has members who respect each other, so there would be hardly any need to tell anyone off. It is a great forum and we all have something to give to it.

I was going to write something here but can't think of the words. Still OD'd on all the Great War stuff and remembering friends that didn't make it in the more small scale stuff I was involved in. Oh yes, that's it, I also take simvastatin plus a few other things as I had a stroke 4 years ago and also currently on my third cancer so it's not all doom and gloom. I do get a bit tired when doing the more rigorous aspects of gardening but know when to ease up for a short while usually with a cup of tea Watching the Royal Marines Commando training school on the box tonight reminded me that I used to be fit Emphasis on the, 'Used to be' I think if i dropped dead doing my gardening I would be a happy corpse No shame on getting older and less able to do things. Comes to us all. Trick is to bend with the wind.

Hi folks.. sorry I've not visited for some time but it's been a bit of a mish-mash of happenings. Can't remember if I mentioned it but am now in the process (very slow one!) of trying to get a ground floor flat as I am now in a 1st floor one and am finding the stairs too much for me. Trouble is I can only bid for the ones with a shower or wet room as I can't cope with getting into a bath, and they are very few. All my garden tools etc, I have given to a community based project allotment scheme and sold my greenhouse too. Had a really good sort out of all my hoarded stuff indoors and two charities sent their vans to collect and several items went to people on Streetlife. I've also had some very bad days pain wise and keep hoping it wont get much worse as ..I hope you'll forgive me for having a bit of a wail..I do get times that I feel I can't put up with much more! However, I shall continue to pop in from time to time to have a look at your lovely gardens. Wishing you all the very best and happy Halloween..

Jasmin, as Moonlight said earlier in the thread, it is YOUR blog, you write whatever you want to. Nobody HAS to read it so you stop worrying about how people think about what you write. I bet there is NO ONE on this site who has had a wail from time to time, me included.
