When you get up the nerve to go into the chatroom, look to the right where it says 'Online' and you'll see your own name and the name of anyone else in there.

If it doesn't say 'Online' but says 'Away', that means the other person has just left the PC/laptop for a minute or so but will be back within a minute or two.

This way you know to hang around if you've got the time, or leave if you haven't and it tells others that you're around but have just popped out of the chatroom

I pop in there a lot, if no-one's around i'll log back out but i'll often have the window open when i'm looking around the site ......
That way i can see if some-one's popped in to say hello and if they have it's nice to speak and chat with freinds

When it had the colourful logos etc it made the box which you type in go further down the screen and i said that people who weren't used to a chatroom layout wouldn't know to scroll down the screen and look for the box to type in.
