Mine have germinated too, now my only problem is to find somewhere bright enough and mouse free.

My sweetpeas "Dawn" are just poking through. I had a really good show of them last year. I will be sowing some mixed varieties later to grow on the allotment for cutting.

mine are planted out now That's what they look like in rootrainers....the roots, that is. The plants are hiding the other side. They were getting a bit too leggy, so out they went and trimmed back a bit. before trimming after trimming

As we're working on the garden atm my baby sweetpeas will be potted on into long tom pots for now. I know that it isn't ideal but until we're ready for them they'll just have to cope in the cold GH....

I agree. I have yet to sow some but will most likely just sow direct as all I want this season are the seed crop for next year when hopefully I will be fit again and can do a proper job with them.

SP do you tie your stems in to the canes to begin with if so what do you use. Les. After planting out I usually place some small twiggy sticks alongside and tie back to that using raffia. This is just to stop the young plants flopping about in the wind. Once a shoot has been selected to grow on the others are removed and the growing shoot is tied back to the cane at every leaf joint. You can use whatever suits you to do this but I use homemade wire rings.
