Finally got some compost bins up and working.   The weeds to the left are now gone. That area is where the shed will go. Also picked a load of runner beans and pulled a few onions, garlic and cabbages. |

I am thinking of getting another shed in the spring, for the other half plot. Even though we live just across the road from these allotments, we have a portable toilet and camping stove and gas bottle down on the old allotment to move.

I hope to get the shed sorted this week,Tel. This site has seperate basic toilet facilities for the men and woman plot holders.

Weather permitting it will be finished Saturday. Managed to get the floor down this morning before the rain hit.

The last allotments I had round here didn't have ANY facilities at all not even water. One was full of stones and although I did my best to clear them there was always more. I did my back in and had to concede defeat and I doubt I will ever take on another. Too much for me now but I still dream of the glory days when I was growing lots of stuff. My home garden takes all my time now. |

Cheers Tel. Have had problems with it all my life, used to it now. Once the shed is done the plot will become fun rather than work. If you can understand that.
