This is it, @hywel. Can you put a name to it? I don't think it's rare! Ooops! It's got cobwebs on it - we get an awful lot in our old house. I was delighted to find one flower on my Iris unguicularis - there may be more later now it's started flowering. Up the lane there's a garden with dozens of them every year! They do look wonderful. They must just like the position they're in, I suppose.

It's Crassula ovata Geranium and Lou78W ... otherwise known as 'Money plant' and 'Jade Plant' It looks like it could do with some more light Geranium, and don't worry about the cobwebs lol they get on everything here too and sometimes when I take a photo of a plant, they are so fine, that they are only visible in the photo. I tried brushing them off a small succulent once, in order to take a photo, but the leaves kept coming off as well ... so I just took the photo as it was - cobwebs and all

I don't think that is necessarily bad steve and @hywel because you know you are going to grow these cuttings and they are not wasted. I took some seeds when I was at Houghton Hall Art Exhibition and they are growing. My daughter was ashamed of me. That Iris is perfect Geranium.

Years ago we used to take my grandmother to a park, or the botanical gardens, and she and I would always come back to the car with our pockets full of cuttings ... and my father used to say if we got caught, he'd say he didn't know us

Thanks, @hywel. At least I know its name now. The Iris has a twin next to it now! I hoped there'd be more - and the new clump I planted up in the wall border has some buds showing. I have a Hepatica in flower. So tiny, but so pretty.

That's a pretty little flower Geranium. I've never grown those. I'll have to look for some.
My Iris reticulata are coming up nicely now, in a pot, but no flowers yet, ... and the ones in the front garden have disappeared I have 2 small snowdrops open too I've taken a photo of them but haven't downloaded it yet.
