Managed to get 5 poms, though they are not the best I have had, have got 3 Wyn's Favourite, small dec, really not big enough, but I am taking them or they would only be left on the allotment. If I did not have the trophy to return, I would not have bothered taking the blooms.

All the best for tomorrow Tel, even though you have not concentrated on this show. We will see how the blooms look to the judge.

Still caning dahlias in the dark for tomorrow! Had some lovely ones earlier in the week but the gales and monsoons have not left us with anything decent, still it's the taking part that counts??

Hope you gave it a polish Tel I have sweetpea, the polish took some finding though, there is no more to polish, I left the others after the presentations last season. I know most folk like to display their trophies but I found out that if you seal the silverware in a polythene bag they hold on to their shine. I had run out of room on the shelf and they tended to gather dust anyway so it saved me a bit of work.

Yes all the best for those who are showing this weekend.
Its my local show tomorrow.
Have managed to cut:
8 x Winholme Daine 6 x Barbarry Surprise. 6 x George Marston. 9 x Val's Candy 6 x Gwyneth. 4 x Kenora Wildfire
12 x Morre Place 10 x Gurtla Twilight.
Well the poms are earmarked to cut 1st thing in the morning so they spend as much time on the plant and less time swelling up in water.
Will decide late doors what goes in, the rest I will give away to the old birds.
I would have liked to have done Sandy show today but 4 shows in one week is pushing the wife's patience.
