It's no big wizz*, just me being a bit of a derr brain.
*I hope that expression has no vulgar connotations, in other parts of the country but it's totally innocent round here. p.s.Tel, not so sure on the 'informative' bit.
View AttachmentNot exactly sure what was going on with those 2 fly things, connected by their abdomens one on it's back and the other on it's front. I'm not sure exactly what they were doing, I didn't want them doing it on my Ryecroft Zoe. Managed to flick them into a flower pot and chucked them outside the greenhouse. No comment lol

WARNING: Here follows a photographic rogues gallery of my dahlia plants... (tubers to follow... probably not today, too much excitement might be dangerous to your health.)
These are the ones that my Dad gave me a few days ago:
Eastwood Moonlight in the middle, Willo's Violet back left, Peach Delight back right Then at the front left to right: Trooper Dan, Nulands Josephine, Weston Pirate, Weston Corsair.
Now the fun really starts... by type. Brace yourselves...

My Medium Semi Cactus
Peach Delight on the left and Eastwood Moonlight on the right. If a cutting has big leaves and he is trying to root it, he cuts the leaf, so that it has a smaller surface area, so that the plant can spend more of it's energy developing roots, rather than support the big leaves. (I hope that I phrased it right but basically he trims the leaves if they are a bit big).

I know that it is very disappointing but I can't add my Poms and Miniature semi/cactus plants because there are too many of them to be able to work out which is which and I can't see enough of the labels to be able to read them all.

Would you like to borrow my binoculars or maybe even a telescope

I'll name that Pom...
Poms Willo's Violet Gurtla Twilight (+?) Lismore Moonlight ( cutting from Dad) Moor Place Tisa Large poms Nulands Josephine ( cutting from Dad)
The 2 on the left are Gurtla Twilight, (If I squint and the photo and say wobble...) The big one at the back is Moor Place which I got from Station House, that order came before Halls.
By looking at Exhibit A: Dahlias from my Dad and comparing leaves...
This is what I think they are:
Could be wrong tho.
Spoke to Dad about Lismore Moonlight, said that I thought he had a tuber and I was going to ask for a cutting, I was right but the reason why he had bought a couple of Lismore Moonlight plants at the plant sale was he didn't get enough cuttings from it. So I was right but I should have asked him earlier and then bought a plant for myself at the same time. No matter, I can grow it next year. Live and learn, well try to.

You haven't actually done anything but if anyone asks why I fall asleep at work, I'll say that you are a bad influence on me.
I'm rambling...
