I think that one is good. As I do ramble on I need to think about it. Going to start lifting some dahlias today the ones with bad foliage issues not taking any chances now. Will join sir Alf in dahlia heaven as cremation ceremony going to happen.

My Dad gave me this...
My seedling (wished he'd left it on the plant) so that I could look at it (closer up)
n.b. the bent petals on the left are only bent because it got put down while I was doing my seat belt (n.b. It wasn't me that put it down) and there are a couple of petals nibbled but it still is very pretty. Not bad for a 1st year seedling.

Won't be long until Clearview Jenny is fully open.
Dad said "It's not bad, look even better if you get it to be the one colour..." humpf

Your top pic certainly looks like a Kiwi - either Kiwi Gloria or Trelyn Kiwi, Deborah's Kiwi is a more definite pink. I think your Clearview Jenny would make a nice addition to a garden border. The seedling looks lovely too.
Managed to harvest some seed off 'Westerton Folly' (small ball, lavender) and 'Lilian Marston' (miniature decorative, dark pink) so I can see some seedlings in my crystal ball for next year.

Moonlight love your kiwi Gloria. You can grow them down south ! Well done. Can I ask you are you happy with staleen condessa ? I know its grown tall but apart from that you like it ? From your small cactus semi cactus would you say ryecroft zoe has been the best ? I need 2 for next year. I was looking at yellow Lakeland as my second or a kiwi or a Ruskin. Nervous of goldcrests as very slow to get going from the reports. All the best Raymond

I've grown Ruskin Zoe for the first time this year, and have been more than pleased with her...I think she'll go far... The kiwis have always been very slow for me.... ...of course I'm a bit further north than you.....

I am keeping 3 of my Seedlings. Fred 3 a seedling from a Downham Royal - miniature ball
Fred 3 Fred 3 Which are seedlings from Downham Royal and the same colour.
(Downham Royal) - Miniature ball.
(Downham Royal) - Miniature ball.
Fred 4 - a seedling from Eastwood Moonlight - medium semi cactus
Fred 4
Fred 4
Fred Fire a seedling from Staleen Condessa a mutant giant of over 7 feet medium semi cactus. Had loads of seed the majority of which I gave to my Dad because I couldn't resist starting some of them off myself. Gave my rooted seedling mini plants to my Dad to grow in his garden had over 100 seeds and I just couldn't risk having a Staleen Condessa forest.
We think that one of the Fathers is Weston Spanish Dancer which was next to it. and the seedling is much more list a Weston and I do Love my Westons. n.b. Bit squished from being put down.

Also growing Oakwood Goldcrest which looks good as well. Like a danty mini Eastwood Moonlight.
