Bob is keeping them warm, to make sure there is no problem with germination.

Well I had a fairly busy over the bank holiday weekend pottering about.
I thought I would show you some photos...
You will see I got the shelves cut for the greenhouse. Seriously chuffed with it now. I was glad when I found some cable ties in our shed as this provided a good but of support tightening up with joints at the front of the greenhouse so now it's all secure again. I only noticed it was a bit slack on Saturday night when Bob (pup) walked into me as nice as ever you like with a wee potted geranium lol he looked totally chuffed with himself lol, I went out to see how he'd got it and noticed it had fallen off the shelf as a gap had appeared when the front bar came loose hence the cable ties lol, I do think Bob was bringing me the plant as an apology as he had previously tripped me up walking outside, he bolted into the house to escape the wrath lol, I went down on my knee and fell forward onto my hands (all totally fine) trying to protect Bob and my broken toe lol but I looked up and Bob was duking round the door frame checking to see if I was alive or dead and if it was ok to come back out, he literally crawled over to me full of sympathy lol, anyway back to the greenhouse lol
The plant that looks a little dead is a Penstemon, it actually might be totally dead and probably is but I thought I'd chance trying to keep it just incase lol
Not so sure what to do with this, it's a rose, bought out of Asda last year with no information so unsure if its meant for inside or outside. Anyone any suggestions?
I also got 5 topsy turvy planters for some of my tomatoes, I got the hooks screwed under the fascia board and got them hung ready to fill and plant out when I get the tomatoes, the rest will go in regular pots. I moved one of the plastic bag strawberry planter thingys too. I got the rest of my potatoes in (a bit late I know but better late than never was my reckoning lol) and got a few things moved about. I will take photos soon and upload them.
I eventually got to weeding the front and back paths/fences etc and spraying weed killer, brushed down the steps and paths etc at the front so happy to get all that done.
I noticed a fairly stagnant pot with a raspberry cane in it, on quick inspection I realised it somehow missed getting drill holes so I transplanted the cane to a fresh pot, drilled holes in the stagnant one and left it over the gully to drip dry
I took down one of the bird nesting boxes from my shed door to relocate with another one that is yet to put up.
I got about 30 recycled 7-8" plastic pots and about 15 small plastic trays

You've made excellent use of space there KC. I'm particularly impressed with the crop of rice-crispies. (just below the sieve on the wooden shelf). As for the rose; I was toying with the idea of growing a few from seed, to have in large pots. They might need a bit of formative pruning (ideally, they want to grow upwards, not outwards, I guess )

aaaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha I'm just waiting to hear them snap crackle and pop in the heat lol Perhaps it would need a good pruning, I really don't know, admittedly I kind of forgot about it besides watering it with everything else but not giving it much thought. Do you think it's for inside or outside? Growing them from seeds could be interesting, I wonder how pernickety they are to germinate I was so chuffed to see the big bud on the fuchsia Forgot to say, I also discovered I was growing a ginormous nettle aaaaaaaahahahaha kid you not and none of you pointed it out to me in my last batch of pics so you's can't tease me for it I only discovered it when my finger brushed against it, I was only a wee nipper when I was last stung by a nettle, needless to say it's in the bin!

KC , did you know there's a big nettle growing in one of your red pots? (No I didn't spot it until you said!) I would harden your potted rose off a bit by putting it out in the day & away at night for a week or so & then it will be fine outside. It could have been originally intended as an indoor potted plant but they will all grow outdoors as well, if you keep it in a pot it should stay fairly small.

I will give that a go... hardening off the rose... Small red buds on it in the house last year, no buds on it in GH at the moment.

I haven't began hardening off the rose yet but I will soon, I gave everything a good watering this morning while Bob sat on our bed looking out the window at me lol wee rascal. He and the gardening are great and welcomed distractions at the moment. I sold quite a few Laburnums etc the past week or so that I had sown well over a year ago, the last batch went last night. I'm bringing geraniums, begonias and Lobelia up at the moment with the view of selling some one, that is if my mum and husband leave me some to sell lol. I have some seeds I would like to sow this week. It will just be me and Bob tonight, tomorrow night and Thursday night probably so I will see what I get done some stuff to sort out. Big bag of soil to manoeuvre from the front of the house to the back to top up my spuds and to fill the seed trays and pots, tomatoes to transplant into pots and upside down planters. I don't want to take much out of greenhouse just yet as this weeks quite cold but I might move some into my shed to allow freshly sown seed trays to be put in the greenhouse By the end of the week I will have totally ran out of room again in the greenhouse, I have no idea what I'm going to do or how I'm going to manage! Any tips?

Well I made a start outside again, this morning in the chucking rain lol. I moved the fuchsia and some of the geraniums outside. I moved one of my potted tomatoes outside too. I also made a start at setting some plants aside for mum. When I get home I will have a short while to start potting on some seedlings: tomatoes, begonia and lobelia for starters. We are at a friends tonight for an indian and out tomorrow night for a Chinese at another friends house so we're going to be well fed.

Begonia's, you say ? Let me know how they go. I had two attempts to grow them. First stab was in early March, for which I had to construct an electricly heated propogator. (The Heliotropic Plantopticon, of which I was innordinately proud considering what a ramshackle affair it was). The second time was just in a cheapo plastic (unpowered) propagator. (basicly a seed tray with a plastic lid... attractively priced at £3.00 from Wilkinsons). That was in mid-april. Both attempts failed miserably, with not a single seed germinating. For extra space, have you considered one (or two) of those cheap plastic greenhouse/shelving thingies ? I think they are called Growhouses ? B+Q and Morrisons are selling them for less than a tenner. They are a bit fragile, and need some bricks to stop them blowing over (or a heavy plantpot on the bottom shelf) but they are handy 'cos you can dismantle them in winter, and move them around. Or you can simply remove the stabalising bricks and watch them move themselves around in the wind ? Tip: put a dab of grease or vaseline or oil or something on the end of each metal pole before inserting it into the plastic joining thingies. That way, it will be easier to dismantle. Also... a rubber mallet or a hammer wrapped in a cloth is handy for "tapping" it all into place properly). How did the Indian go ?

Roofgardener I have begonias in from seed, must check them, but as I'd heard they are tough to grow from seed I bought some mini plugs as backup they're fab. I have considered those but if I put those up I doubt I'd have room for the rest of my stuff lol as well as Bob But I wouldn't mind a few and think I could squeeze a couple in Though I think it's just the growhouse cover that's a tenner, I think they're about £25 in B&Q complete Yup, we used a mallet when we put the greenhouse up that we have, then I cable tied it when the front section started coming away when I put the extra shelving in at the back. So far it's working well but I think I could be easily persuaded to get another couple of the smaller ones anyway. They would never go to waste. Well the India went great on Friday night, then we were invited to other friends on Saturday night for a Chinese so we haven't gone hungry over the weekend that's for sure! Did your blueberry seeds arrive ok?

Well I got little done over the weekend. I filled a crate of flowers for mum on Saturday, potted up 5 fuchsia and transplanted about 6 tomato plants into pots (on my windowsill at the moment. This morning I started filling mum's second crate of flowers, need to finish it off this evening to get to her tomorrow. I dumped some of last years strawberry runners as they're totally dead I also transplanted the tumbling variety tomatoes into hanging baskets. I still need to get the rest of them into the upside down planters and standard pots, I might get stuck into that when I get home. I've 24 cosmos to pot on, about 70 lobelia and far too many begonia to mention. I'm thinking of trying to sell these actually. Think they'll have to wait until another day! It's actually quite a daunting task

This morning I finished off mum's second crate of flowers and potted on the lobelia. I'll probably do the cosmos this evening and make another stab on the begonia.
