BACK YARD as of a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say I still need to power hose the back yard!!! You'll see Bob loves the rim of my pots!!! Also he's munched my blueberry plants down but I still love him He's chewed most of my plant labels so I'm guessing what is in what pot at the moment.
KITCHEN WINDOWSILL - tomatoes + peas inside. Geraniums outside (I don't know if these will come to anything but some are showing some life)
FRONT GARDEN - all new and getting there, at least now hopefully you'll see it has started to take shape The wire is now up in the back yard, for sweet pea (hopefully) to grow up. These plants are now a good few weeks on in growth and some have been removed. We still need to finish laying some brick and cutting the rest for round the edges. The seeds on top of the fence have germinated and coming on well enough surprisingly. Dunno what's growing and what's not lol. Time will tell One of my bird boxes needs straightened lol and the planter wall needs finished before I can plant my climbing rose.
So now... drumroll please... let me know what you think

Lovely pics KC looks like you've got it all in hand and well organised - things are growing nicely and before you know it all the spare space you thought you had will be lush and green. The geraniums should grow away nicely they're very resilient plants

Thanks daisy I do hope the geraniums grow, I absolutely love them, and oh my goodness the smell is just incredible, even in their dormant state they still smell amazing.

I have to admit KC I've never smelled any of the geraniums in the garden, but, I do adore the scents of the non hardy (also known as geraniums) Pelargoniums - my favourite is Mabel Grey with its deliciously strong lemon sherbet scent. There are also ones that smell of..rose, lavender and cinnamon to name but a few

KC this not a criticism but an observation...the small gaps in the paving at the gate are ideal for planting creeping plants such as Thyme Sedum and chamomile and many others - save trying to get the paving stones into tricky gaps!

Love the curved wall & seating area KC , looking good! You'll have to get Bob a 'teething ring' to stop him chewing all your pots!

I do hope they come again, there's a wee bit of life I think willing to poke through in them.

I've thought of that but I think OH reckons it would just look like weeds, though he hasn't actually started cutting the bricks yet for the gaps. I'll mention it to him again and see what he says, I wonder how long it would take something to grow there, he wouldn't want it too creepy as in creeping all over the bricks. What would creep a little but not take over? That wouldn't need pulled up at the end of season leaving gaps

lol SueA Bob just chews the teething rings and leaves them lying in pronto speed and goes back to the pots. My father in law made me that summer seat in his 95th year so we wanted to feature it

KC, this is looking FABULOUS. (and its great to hear from you again... I was getting worried ) I love some of the little details; the bird boxes, the bench, the 'rising' curved wall .. indeed... the curves in general. I've never seen this idea of a fence incorporating planters before... I can only imagine what that is going to look like in summer ! It's good to see the back garden growing as well. Your previous photographs of the back garden where a big inspiration for me to try and add some "decoration" to the roofgarden. I just LOVE the intricacy and detail of your layout. Oh.. I've identified one of the "secret seeds"... and I love the choice. (more of this in the diary this coming weekend).

Thanks roofgardener It's the wee details that really make it I think, I just need to add to it when things start growing My OH loves the curves as well ok... moving swiftly on... You know me, I don't like wasted space if I can grow something in it on it or round it so I thought it would be great idea The only place there's no flowers in the fence at the front is the gate as we've to reach over it to open it I'm not sure if I had photos of the fence growth last summer? If not I might just have some photos, maybe they're just photos in my mind lol What intricacy and detail do you like in the back garden? It's interesting getting your take on things as we're similar in thought ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh come on tell me, curious to know if you've guessed right
