Gosh, £400 for an SSD! It must've been a seriously fancy one. I told my husband and he's still picking his jaw off the floor. You should, apparently, be able to get an 120-256gb SSD for around £60-£80, but if you find an offer you might get it cheaper.'For £400 you'd get a whole new computer base with an SSD and still have some change!'
We were impressed we could get the 'interwebs' when on holiday not far from Clun just recently, Mark, so maybe I have your brother to thank!

Like you said, a new complete processor with an SSD and loaded windows 8.1, and still have change

Who is your broadband provider sweetpea, do you have your computer plugged in, or wireless. The trouble is, you can keep buying all these incidentals for £30 or so pounds, when the problems lies in the processor, ie, clogged up producing slow running, equalling, frustration . All of a sudden, you've spent £100, and not cured the problem .

No poppadoms dai, far too much for me these days anyway but I try Normally I prepare and cook a jalfrezi on Saturday nights but decided to have a night off and order from a local takeaway. A bit more expensive but what is life without the occasional treat, eh?

I do like the occasional takeaway myself. I like a lamb balti though.
