The Boxing Day sale adverts are all over the telly tonight, so it must be Christmas now! As I know some of you may not be here over the next few days, I shall take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Pucker up, people I've never seen anything like the way mistletoe grows in the orchards around here in Herefordshire, coming from the Fens. This is only part of a bunch my in-laws chopped from one of their apple trees this morning. Plenty for me to share with my neighbour too. And I wish a Happy Christmas to everyone too

Wishing you all a Happy and stress free Christmas. We are what is colloquially known as cream crackered and will be glad when it is over although i do like all the eating and giving. This year I reckon my thoughts will be mainly on my sister in Oz who has terminal cancer and also with the relatives and loved ones of those involved in that terrible accident in Glasgow. You never really know what awaits round the corner, do you.

I made mince pies and two loaves to take with us, along with two boxes of pressies. I am not packed yet, but that won't take long. I'll be in contact with my iPad, but I do wish everyone a very Happy Christmas in case you are not around over the next few days.

Merry Christmas to everyone, hope you all enjoy yourselves or make the best of it if you have other things on your mind. I might look in on here to see if you're all behaving yourselves!
