I have unwrapped the two dahlias I have Tel and they look great with very little growth and the newspaper damp. If I cut them in half, should I use sulphur powder?

Set up my t5 grow light over the tubers. The shoots green but a little paler than I would like.
Should have my second batch of cuttings tomorrow or Wednesday with Hapet pearl and sorbet. Ryecroft zoe and hillcrest candy not far off 3 or four days I think. Lots of shoots now on Mary's jomanda and winholm Diane. Pleased to see some good growth finally on two of the Weston pirates One still nothing. Senzoe Ursula producing lots now.
Peach delight I was told was a weird propagator very thin pinkish lanky shoots very different to anything else. You would think it was virused but checked it out and this is normal.

Cuttings went a bit limp ste b I misted them and put some water in base of propagator . The cuttings in gravel trays . Humidity up and pleased to say they have perked up a bit. Early days watching temp very closely at 17 to 18 degrees at base level

Hi Steve, cane home from work expecting the worst and delighted to find even more perky looking cuttings. I have given them a mist tonight just a very light one. What worried me was temp a bit high. So lid off to cool down a bit. Propagator turned down to 16 degrees. Topped up water in the base. Vents will stay open. No dampening off so that is good. Was told if you get past day 5 you are in with a shout.

Another tuber off the not woken list. A dwarf bedding collarette that looks like pooh. One bedding going rotten has a shoot. So hopefully can get the cutting before it is mush. Did remove some of the rot very carefully With sterile sharp knife. Hapet daydream has the most lovely rich green coloured leaves Front left Hard to see but prettiest foliage so far.

Don't over do the water at the base Raymond to much heat and water they might go black, it happen to me when I started off. If you do see them going black, don't necessarily panic. Depending on the length of cutting you have taken, cut away the rotted stuff to just below the leaf joint above it. Provided that looks clean and isn't hollow, you can root that bit.
