Looks like they have all been crushed together on the benches without good light. You won't have any problem with Halls plants....and this is from first hand experience...I've seen 'em

Station house plants Look fine to me. Wait and see how they grow. As to Halls plants, out of receiving 12 Bonaventure from them last year and only 2 producing a proper plant, you can't always go on what a cutting looks like.

Lou78W I gave station house two orders and if this is the standard of plants they may be my last with them. Got 16 more to come from them. Let's see what pink suffusion and Hapet ideal are like . scrumpy lets see how they grow . Big roots and will need potting on I think soon not a lot of room in a three inch pot. I am sure dahliadave plants will be great. looking forward to getting them tom mcclelland, sues kilmorie, Allan snowfire and some bedding one's. I need to just get better at propagating my own stock then no excuses or complaints ! Hehehe

A bit more 3" square. Bigger still 4" square. The plants I got from Taylor's end of March had minimal root. Much smaller than the ones you've received. So they went into 6 cells. That's how Frank does his cuttings. The ones I received from Station House went into 4" square pots. Some plants bigger than yours, some the same size, some smaller. It depends on the variety. And I'll bet you when you receive mine, you'll realise how bad Halls and Station House are

I'm imagining every available surface, chez Tel ian scrumpy dahliadave being chocabloc with plant pots and very disconcerted spouses wondering why they don't get cherished as much!

I have certainly learned rather a lot Lou78W I would not be concerned about the shape of them. I would be more concerned if the plants were broken, at the end of the day, the resultant stems that they produce after stopping, will be straight that's all we want from the plants.
