I feel like a dead dahlia this morning
Luckily my baby dahlias are looking better than me...... all this digging, weeding and potato planting is taking it's toll this year..... as well as trying to quash a fracas

My thoughts, exactly, Cherry.
A new day, a fresh outlook. It's sunny and I've just spoken to the dahlias

Looks like they have all been crushed together on the benches without good light. You won't have any problem with Halls plants....and this is from first hand experience...I've seen 'em Have you had a peak around their nursery, Lou78W ? I have indeed!!

Cat have you read 'Dahlias for Beginners', which is the story of Wildlife Friendly growing dahlias for the first time with Tel's help. Read up to Page 24. This would make a good film, but you would not believe it. I have had one or two pupils on here. ...including me !!..

Jam cooking also has a conversation with me..... after working for two jam firms, as well as making it with my Nan and Mum, I have learnt to read it like a book.... and some varieties can be particularly naughty, if you let them get away with it
I'll have to learn how to do this photo upload thingy, then you can see my baby flora

Well I have just apologised to my Dahlias as I had not opened the greenhouse door before going out.
I have just picked up a bag of Potasium Nitrate and a bag of Sulphate of Potash in readiness for the season. So I have got everything now ready and waiting.

Just to remind you that potassium nitrate is explosive, and if used as a dry dressing you have to be very careful, otherwise you may blow your plants up.
