Norway is beautiful. I went with my cousin and my Nan as a 18th birthday present. We stayed with my Aunt and Uncle, our Norwegian younger cousin spoke absolutely no English.
We had fun but true Norwegian food wasn't our cup of tea.
Over-riding memories of fish balls.
I digress, Norway is stunning.
Norway had a pureness about it - well except for the fish balls.

Hi Moonlight yes Norway is a wonderful place the fjords are stunning especially very early in the morning, so peaceful. So you visited Norway for your 18th! So you have been recently then (hehe). Fish balls? Did not know they had them! I will look out for the fish with the balls on the market.

Been tying in more dahlias. The growth is astounding. Much faster than last year. Allowing one zoe bud to flower and timing it . Knocked out another 30 this morning.
I gave 20 inches between plants wish I had given more.

Well even though I stopped late compared to many others buds on a lot of plants. Dikara superb , grenidor pastelle, Ac Abby, Mary's jomanda, both zoes, senzoe Ursula. Looks like Weston pirate and candy not far off either even wyns favourite which I butchered.
I will have to knock back. Cutting all buds of kenora sunset and taking it back low and thinning to flowering numbers . Stems like rubber . Changing to high potash now. Sulphate of potash down next week all bar kiwis.

Cheers ste b will do that. My friend in suffolk is having problems as well. Boom they came. Will spray again on Monday with dynamec then will spray again in 4 days with majestik. Then every 7 days until I think under control. The majestik coats the leaves and actually gives them a nice gloss. That decis is strong stuff loads of zapped stuff after I used it. What will help also finally loads of rain. Thank God. Mind you probably the turn of ninja mutant giant slugs and snails. I have my defense ready tigger pellets and slug clear liquid.

Got some more tied in. Although having to go back and adjust a bit. Things moving on fast. I think one hillcrest jersie is virused. Looks stunted a bit crinkly on the leaves and half the size of the other three. Will give it a feed due on Tuesday if it stays the same then bin it. Removed some more buds off the zoes and grenidor pastelle got a lot more buds to remove on Monday. Will start to thin down to flowering numbers as well. Did one kiwi Gloria today from 10 to 8up will look again in a week and reduce to 7up. I have to say as a plant Tel wyns favourite is far superior to winholm Diane. It is a beast super strong habit and rapid growth. I knocked it back very hard and has responded superbly well. Almost got buds again. If the blooms as good at the plant it is a strong contender. Growing one 7up and the other 6up. The only variety I am unsure of is kelsea Carla it only gave five breaks . Coming into bud so may try two on one stem. Dikara superb is a very uneven set of plants.
