What does your dad want from USA moonlight I wanted one called camano mordor a small ball On Clearview.
I love the yellow seedling I still love the lilac medium and the pale pink medium. I hope he has kept them both.
I ordered purple puff as well along with ryecroft Marge and ryecroft Jim, Paso doble + one raisers pride , sues kilmorie, Stillwater brilliant as my Tuber rotting, pink suffusion and 3 Tom mcclelland.
Did one anemone last year and I liked it . Even though horrible habit and leggy.

On an entirely different subject...
After many a discussion about boring cereal and how they don't want to eat it for breakfast, I've got them into Weetabix Weetabuddies. Here are their 1st 2 creations: Fairy's creation wearing a banana dress and I believe that Pirate's has a banana moustache.

Tel I agree . Its a bobby dazzler!! Lou78W I actually looked that expression, it's one that I know but it isn't one used round here. I wanted to know if there actually was someone called Bobby Dazzler. I was shocked when I actually found out that there was a real Rockefeller "Who do you think I am, Rockerfella, I'm not made of money you know" a phrase that I grew up with.
Where does the phrase 'Bobby Dazzler' come from?
So there you go, I've learnt something new - thought I'd share.

I have succumbed to the dark side which lies totally against the grain of what I grew up with.
When I imagine a dahlia the picture I have in my mind is spiky. A serious big time dahlia snob so when my Dad decided to grow 3 Anemone Dahlias I thought that he had gone mad. I think he saw it as challenge; someone had told him that it was difficult to get decent Anemone seedlings so that was it...
I like Collerettes and I keep seeing more that I like. Kelsey Annie Joy, seen in a post at ISO Dahlias by Holger Jansen Also seen this one Bloomquist Kelly Ann
So there you go, I've succumbed to the dark side, even going to grow Blue Bayou an Anemone.

Yes they are growing a bulb each.
On an entirely subject what do you think of my new Purple Wellies. Fell in love, wonder why?
Pirate discovered some lovely fleeced purple clogs. That I got for Christmas so I'm prepared for cold and mud.
