I thought there was three good eyes on your mantis tuber Moonlight. Looking good. How is everyone ? Hope much better Hiya Raymond, I think that they all are a bit better at the moment. My Mum has had a hospital appointment today but don't know how it went yet. I'm working this week but Mum and my Sister took the girls to the cinema today so they had a nice day.
& Roofy the honest answer is I haven't a clue yet as everything keeps changing.
Dad says Peach Delight and Amber Festival have not got eyes so that is good news.

Moonlight that sounds like family is on the mend Great news And also good news about peach delight and Amber festival. I must say peach delight is the most awful looking cutting. Spindly weak looking and looks Virused. I don't think I will grow it even if it roots. Was told this is how it propagates And improves as it gets bigger.

Well this is the plan that was... 2015 Local Dahlia classes: miniature semi/cactus (x3 Class 87) Weston Pirate, Weston Spanish Dancer, Weston Stardust, Weston Corsair, Weston Buccaneer, Weston Sunup, Majestic Athalie + Fred Fire small semi/cactus (x1 Class 90) (x3 Class 88) Oakwood Goldcrest, Ryecroft Zoe, Ruskin Myra & Clearview Audrey + Fred Flump medium semi / cactus (x1 Class 91) (x3 Class 89) Eastwood Moonlight, Peach Delight, Hillcrest Candy, Eastwood Star (+ Clearview Jenny & Candy Jayne) large or giant semi/cactus (x1 Class 92) Trooper Dan Currently... Mini semi/cactus: Don't know how the Weston's at my Dad's are going but I've ordered a Buccaneer and a Tom McClelland. Decided against ordering Majestic Athalie from ndc - not been reliable source in the last 2 or 3 years which is a shame because I wanted to order Eastwood Star but that arrived as another Eastwood Moonlight from there. Oh well. Small semi/cactus: Don't know how the tubers and cuttings at Dad's are doing except that the Greenways Zoe has rooted cuttings. My Clearview Audrey tuber is currently at the stage where I look at it so long that I start imagining that it has eyes Dad finally found a tuber that looks alive but I was rather hoping to grow it again myself - so who knows? Medium semi/cactus: The plan had been to grow Hillcrest Candy this year but it isn't playing ball for Dad so who knows. No good news yet for Eastwood Moonlight but Peach Delight is getting there. Jenny and Candy Jayne, I don't know. Hopefully we will get another Medium semi/cactus. Large or giant semi/cactus: Trooper Dan is growing but also running later than my Dad would have wanted.

We went to the horticultural shop collected leaflet. Unfortuantly the instructions state use a 3 inch pot. Problem was they didn't sell any 3 inch pots. Just 3 and a half. Ended up at Wilkos and bought some pots there.

Managed to avoid a major family disaster, HH parked car in a multi-storey carpark at the top as there were no lower spaces, got out of car and as I got out the leaflet blew out, luckily I managed to find it blown under another car but must have looked like a decidedly dodgy car thief. HH thought that I had hurt myself.
