View of the garden from Pirate's Bedroom.
The battle of the high-rise overhang will continue this year.
Next Doors pool looks enormous compared to my Greenhouse.

is that your log cabin at the end of the garden moonlight ? it looks class . what`s it like inside ? Yes the log cabin is mine but it is very untidy inside. It's got a lot of stuff in it, needs a jolly good sort out. On my list of things to do. It hasn't been used as much as should.

In the good old days when you could see the floor.
This is Fairy teaching herself something called a 'Baby Freeze'. All her body weight is supported by her hands, including her head.

Been off to our storage room wanted to see if we could find out if it is possible to get our bookshelves in our car. With a view to taking them down to the cabin to organise some of the stuff down there.
A very tiny step but just wanted to say Thank You ladybird.

when I get the info on candy I will let you know. Kent growers usually do well with it. So does my Dad including best in show. I liked Vals Candy more but he recommended that I went for Hillcrest because the original doesn't mark as badly as Vals does + it does better in shows.
It's weird because I never think of them as for display. I think of showing them and I think of seedlings and dna pollen on the menu but I don't think of them as displays. Up till now all my Dahlias have been at the back of the house with the exception of 2 posts of Downham Royal either side of my front door. This year I am going to grow my Collerettes in the front garden. Up till now the only people that have seen my Dahlias has been my family. Haven't particularly liked my front garden since we moved in. Time for change 2015.

Also I don't know whether or not to go for trying to get as many Garden Friends from my tuber as I can or whether or not to introduce a 2nd collerette. Which collerette varieties are you growing this year Tel? Garden Friends plus these 3 I have ordered from Jack Gotts, Claire De Lune, Pink Pat & Perc and Karen G. Mental note to self - don't look at the dahlias on the ISO - Dahlias page. Ridling´s Salmon Wheels Jacs Travis Esther Chamberlain Karen G
Karen G is gorgeous. Good choice Tel Bad Woman distracted by more Collerettes...

Update on my Mum, she is still on bed rest, her leg looks a lot better now but she still needs to rest it because she has had an ulcer on her leg before and she needs to minimise the risks of developing another. I haven't actually seen how bad it is but it is good to know that she is trying to follow doctors orders. Knowing my Mum for her to be doing what she has been told, shows just how bad it was. She carries on doing what she needs to. Dad has been really good looking after her... well, when he is not looking after the dahlias.
