Hope your mum gets well soon Moonlight ! Legs problems are a nightmare. I know through experience. Make sure she tries to stay mobile. Back to dahlias I was told hillcrest candy over vals also. I prefer the colour of Vals but as you say marks more. I think all my dahlias will be uncovered. all the best .

Fuchsia Buds of May collection Am aware that they are not all going to be suitable for baskets. 'Adrienne' - trailing 'Dorothy Clive' - upright 'Jean Taylor' - cascading 'Time after Time' - trailing 'White Gold' - cascading
Not bad for £2.99 Together with the Fuchsia 'Giants Collection'
Collection comprises: Fuchsia ‘Bella Rosella’ - Double blooms in shades of pink hang from cascading stems. Fuchsia ‘Bicentennial’ - Flamboyant, frilly blooms in an unusual shade of orange. Fuchsia 'Quasar' - Double mauve blooms with pure white sepals create a dramatic summer spectacle. Fuchsia 'Seventh Heaven' - Bold flamingo pink flowers with contrasting pale pink sepals . Fuchsia ‘Voodoo’ - Dark and mysterious double blooms, with fold upon fold of rich purple petals.
+ The Free P&P
Well can't only grow dahlias this year, want a bit of balance in the garden or shall I just be honest and say I like Fuchsias as well.

Go for it Moonlight ! My parents have a Fuschsia bush. I have no idea what type of Fuschia it is... unless there is a recognised species called "A long-haired Cat sleeps under it". Ummm...... "Fuchsia 'feline sub-nocturnia' " ?

Garden Friends plus these 3 I have ordered from Jack Gotts, Claire De Lune, Pink Pat & Perc and Karen G. Mental note to self - don't look at the dahlias on the ISO - Dahlias page. Ridling´s Salmon Wheels Jacs Travis Esther Chamberlain Karen G
Karen G is gorgeous. Good choice Tel Bad Woman distracted by more Collerettes... Being rather cheeky and quoting Tel from a different thread - Collerette stopping tips.Sent Mr Jack Gott a email, asking how many up he grew these for showing, Claire De Lune, Pink Pat & Perc and Karen G. It turns out it is the same has I was growing Garden Friends Stop once and disbud 2 down.

You should name lots of plants roofgardener love that ! I have to be honest yes I love dahlias but I do have a very large weakness for begonias and roses. So grow those fucshia Moonlight. I will be doing hanging baskets for the first time in ten years this summer. Will probably be a disaster. Hahaha

I think you need to use your front garden more Moonlight . That's what I will be doing . Go for it ! I liked your dad's pink and lilac seedling and also your white with lilac tint . I hope to get some seed this year . Main bed is all cactus or semi cactus with Clearview Sundance , hillcrest candy, hillcrest jersie and ryecroft zoe with a possible couple of staleen, kenora sunset or peach delight thrown in. So hopefully might get something interesting. In 2016 I will cut back my classes further will do more numbers in each so I can have a dabble at some seedlings.

My front garden is small that's where my Collerettes are going and if I get it ordered my Blue Bayou. With the benefit of keeping them away from my others from seedling crosses. I did think of growing my poms there but I think that they would be too tall + more likely to get ruined, than out back.
Can but try :)and hope that the neighbours stop chucking random bits of rubbish over our wall when they get out of the car.

I have to daily litter collect from the front ! Cider and beer cans bits of polythene etc... such a pain in the goodnight moonlight . When I have finished my layout I will start a thread of my ramblings and post it in there. The front needs a lot of work . The plan is 46 dahlias with assorted other bits and pieces. Not including the cider and beer cans ! Lol
