I've said it before, but I'll say it again (and will probably do so several times in the future).
The level of craft skill on this forum never ceases to amaze, and inspire me.
Ladybird, the potting tray is WONDERFUL, as are the dibbers and tampers.
I get smug when I manage to improvise something with bits of bent paper clips. But to make something like these ... it's a quantum leap.
You should be very proud of your work.

Thankyou roof gardener I had great pleasure making them as I imagine you do with your constructions . I remember my first garden DIY effort, my first greenhouse , an old wooden frame of a sofa bed covered with a shower curtain, clear plastic with penguines ,I loved it to bits until it fell to bits . I`m contemplating now how to make round tampers of various sizes

I guess you could use a fret saw (?) to make the round wooden disks.
Or you might be able to get a Lasercutter to make them for you ? Alternatively, a plastics manufacturer could make plastic, or polypropelene disks ?
What sort of diameters are you looking at ?

I mainly use three pot sizes for potting on, 2½" disposable polypots and 3" & 3½" (just discovered how to do ½ cool ) I had thought of plastic and made a tamper from the lid of colmans mustard
