That's a shame floydie about lavender not working, you could try some other herbs like rosemary maybe or perhaps go with ornamental type grasses & poppies - I think you've had Californian in your earlier photos so those should survive & Welsh ones are great - they will pop up almost anywhere. Has one of your piggies escaped in that last photo or is it a model one hiding between the pots?

Yes its one I picked up from a garden centre a few years ago, theres 2 little rabbits there too. They need to find a nice home in the garden somewhere. I dont know where the poppies went I had loads but havent spotted any this year.

Welcome back floydie , you worked so hard when you first did your garden and you still have lots of lovely plants, so I hope you can find enough time (and energy) to get it looking good again

Still lots to do, and lots of grass and weeds on the bank from the middle on. But at least I can see what I'm doing now the hedges are cut back. Sure the green bin will be quickly filled with this lot! But this lot... Has already been disposed of!

The piggies will have to do a lot of eating floydie! I didn't know they liked buddleias(if that's what they are). You've got some nice alliums there & the geraniums work well as ground cover to keep down the weeds & you can cut them back when you get other plants you want to put in there.

Yes its buddleia, they get the soft bits every year when I chop them back. I like the geraniums as they are pretty much the only thing that grows well here lol.

Hello! Very beautiful and thoughtful project here! I am going to start mine soon too, and the first thing I will do is build a small garden house. I saw some great projects at summerhouse24.co.uk/, and I like them a lot. Have you ever built such a thing on your own? I would like to ask you some questions on the subject. Can you please help me?
