New baskets Floydie. They look good already and I see you are transforming the house with a lovely garden.

I did the baskets last week . The wall basket had been done a few a few months ago, the birds have stolen the liner.

This is what OH has been up to the past few days, (Ignore the cot in the background waiting to go to the tip : Complete with my own wonky gate and wobbly fence posts lets see how long it lasts , Should keep the dogs off my Dahlia's anyway until the kids climb it . He made all the fence panels himself from roofing timber and willow screen.

Maybe you could try Met-Post spikes...?

That would mean taking it all down and putting it back up OH will not be happy about that (Something to look at if he puts anymore up). I think the main problems is you cannot dig very far in the garden with out hitting brick so the holes arnt that deep .

It sounds like you didn't add enough water, you may be lucky if you give them a good soaking now. Don't test them for a few days though. It is all looking good floydie, I can see a huge difference since you posted the first photos.
