Well done Raymond , hope you keep the good work going for next year the only way to improve is to keep on exihibiting , not having a year off !? I will exhibit again next year Steve. I enjoyed it although I made it harder work than I should have. Now got to focus more drop a lot . Add a couple of new things. Mediums need a lot of work to get to better size. I found it easy to get the smalls to size semi cactus and decs. A lot of zoe now even going over size. Will add in Oakwood goldcrest for next year. My goldcrest was actually a cherwell. Nice bloom and took the weather pretty well too similar to Jersie in colour which will get one more trail year grown like a kiwi . Got to rig some temporary covers for next year even if umbrellas. Glad you've had some success Raymond, With all the experience you've acquired this year I reckon you'll do well in 2016. I've learned a heck of a lot this season myself. Agree with you about dropping some varieties, will lose a few non performing cultivars (though I need to be more selective about which field tubers to keep) and Oakwood G is one to gain agreed. Where in Salford did you go by the way?

Anyone know when the Harrogate results come in?
Fingers crossed for all our fellow forum growers
Good luck with the stewarding ian and @steveb The results don't "come in" as such. Judging is Friday am and everyone rushes to see how well they have done. I think there is a board in the showing hall where they post the results.....can't remember seeing it last year? We will have to rely on the guys letting us know who has won what. If we ask him nicely, I'm sure ian will put us out of our misery.... (that's if he's not too busy gossiping )

I have arranged for Harrogate friends to have a particular look at the Dahlia entries for me, so if anyone sees a petite blonde with piercing blue eyes hovering about, that will be her, and say hello from garden friends

@davidv I was in castlewood road just on the edge of Salford near the bury border . Went to Windermere , Tatton park etc... Had a nice time . I might just have something for the Kent fed show on Sunday will look tomorrow morning. Only a couple of vases. Need to call the Secretary and see if I can put in a late entry tomorrow after the inspection. I have started to mark the plants I want the tubers to keep. 3 zoe sport , 3 zoe, 1 Andrea , 2 senzoe undecided on some yet like candy, Diane , dikara superb, kenora sunset, wyns ( love it but damps off on me) . Dropping pastelle, pink suffusion, Allan snowfire, raisers pride, kiwis ( might try one again) , Weston pirate, hapets, parkland rave, Clearview Sundance, Valentine, Edie and more. Ruskin Michelle I love but to get the size here will be hard. markb sorry to hear of issues with family health and allotment issues. Hope all are resolved mate. Glad to have you back on the forum.

diggie some stunning vases of Oakwood goldcrest at wisely mostly from Dave Spencer. He has grown some beauties this year. Yes Raymond, I took lots of photos at Wisley some exhibited by DS. I thought Wisley this year was a great improvement on last year, some great blooms on show.
