He's only gone and done it!!! 2 x trophies for best exhibits, 5 x 1st and 1 x 2nd (not just dahlias staged) GARDEN FRIENDS TOOK FIRST!!! So proud of him. He entered 2 vases of Barbarry Vulcan and Barbarry Patriot but they were NAS. They said they were not mini decorative and should have been in class for other types. Judges had gone by time we saw results. Apparently they did look in book but decided they were not in right class. They did agree if they had been in right class they would have got 1 and 2.Anyway judges decision is final and we are still really happy

Hi Cat as I said on NDS site well done to you and the little man champion. They are not classified varieties so therefore should not have been disqualified Vulcan is a miniature dec and Patriot is more of a ball but not classified so again should not have been NAS.
But great I am so chuffed for you and the little man champion Che.πππ

Well done Che, a Dahlia champion in the making I bet. And to you to Cat, bet you had a fabulous day, and now the next show can't come quick enough . Shame the judge didn't know the rules, but as you say, who cares when you've done so well. Upwards and onwards, go champ!!!!
