What shall we do with the drunken shelving ?
I awoke thismorning to discover that Spring appears to have Sprung. It was still a trifle chilly in the shade, but very warm in the sun. I was also awoken by the twittering of the owls, who seem unduly excited.
| They've been looking forwards to a special project. As you can see, we have a broken garden shelving unit here. Clearly, it's load-bearing days are done, but... could we adapt it to a different use ?
| Weeeell.... I dunno Owls. I mean... sure, you can glue it back together, but it won't be strong enough to hold up plantpots ?
| Whilst we're waiting for the glue to dry, lets have a look at one of the mesh shelves....
| White Owl appears to be cutting some bubblewrap to size....
| ... and Brown Owl is taping it to the shelf.
| OK... so... now we have a bubblewrapped shelf thingy. But... to what purpose ?
| Hmmmm.... the next stage of obviously very complicated....and requires careful planning.
| Ahhh.... they've bubblewrapped the shelving unit to form a sort of... box ?
| Hmmm... and now they've rested the bubblewrapped shelf thingy on top .... ??
| ... and they appear to be using garden ties to form.... hinges ??
| Oh my goodness... It's a bubblewrap Cloche/Cold Frame. Now THAT's clever.
Lets try putting some onions in it ?
| Well done Owls !!
Well, it's a bit rickety and weak... I'm not sure whether it will survive any strong winds... we'll have to wait and see. Still, I think a round of applause is due to the Owls ?

Watching them do all that work, wow! They are industrious.
And they'll be awake all night, as owls do, so I hope you give them Sunday off, Roofy
Prop a couple of bricks along the base edges, when it's going to be windy, or the flying bubblekite will be your latest invention
